Maria joined Calgary Employment Lawyers in 2018 and thereafter successfully completed her articles with us. Her practice is focused on advising employees dealing with workplace issues such as wrongful dismissal, breach of contract, constructive dismissal and workplace investigations.
Maria prioritizes communication with her clients so they are well informed and know what to expect. Maria advocates for her clients to ensure the best outcome is obtained, whether it is though settlement negotiations or as a result of a trial.
Maria has appeared before the Alberta Court of Justice and the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta among other administrative bodies and she has successfully represented clients in a number of trials.
Outside of the office, Maria enjoys travelling and spending time with her family, where she continues to hone in her negotiation skills with her toddler.
